Second Coming (The Descendants, #2)
by Vrinda Pendred (Goodreads Author)
The main character of the story is Itzy. Itzy boyfriend Aidan, her brother Osiris, and Seth (who is Osiris friend and roommate) are all descendant from aliens who have joined with Humans.
The only real humans are Devon (who is Itsy best friend), Ash (who is Itsy friend, Devon’s boyfriend and Itzy’s ex-boyfriend), and Itzy’s mother.
Quetzal and Horace are two new characters who have been introduced in this book. They are aliens who have just arrived on earth.
The story continues in this book, both Aidan and Itzy relationship grows closer. But the journey they have in front of them is not an easy one.
Itzy and her brother are also closer in this book, and their relationship continues to develop. They begin to feel like actual siblings and start to act like them as well.
I truly loved this book; it has action, adventure as well as drama. This book has me crying and laughing. The descriptions the author uses make me feel like I am there and actually experiencing everything the characters are experiencing.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes YA, drama, or Sci-Fi. This book is an amazing read, it is my favorite in the series so far!

MANGROVES AND MONSTERS (The Stolen Nickel Series)
MANGROVES AND MONSTERS (The Stolen Nickel Series)
by Sharon Cupp Pennington
The story takes place on the Caribbean island of Jacqueme Dominique. It is a mystery type of book, it has a bit of romance, and of course a murder. I did blush while reading certain parts but it was not inappropriate for the scene.
The main Characters of the story are Charlie Cooper (also called Coop), Angeline St. Cyr, Brent St. Cyr, and Kat.
I could not pick just one favorite character as all the characters in the book were well developed and I came to care for all the characters.
After the first book the second was easier to understand what the writer was doing. I liked how it wasn’t just told from one point of view and you got to see in side all the main characters. I was not able to home in on who the bad person (I’m not saying who it is) was and only figured it out as the main characters did. Although I will say my gut was screaming at me something was not right with a couple of the characters. Also Willem Voorhees does make an appearance.
I felt every emotion that the characters felt. Even though I have never lost a child or someone I loved I was able to understand a little of what they were going through, I could feel everything the characters were feeling and it was very refreshing. I did cry and laugh and want to shot someone, so the author did a great job of pulling you into the book. This book was a page turner and once I got started I had a very hard time putting the book down.
I cannot wait to read the next book in the series as this one left me wanting more.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries, romance, or someone who just want a good read!

Hoodoo Money(The Stolen Nickel Series)
Hoodoo Money(The Stolen Nickel Series)
by Sharon Cupp Pennington
The major part of this story takes place in New Orleans. It is a murder mystery with a bit of romance. I did blush while reading certain parts but it was not inappropriate nor did I feel like it was something I could not discuss with my family.
The main Characters of the story are Charlie Cooper (also called Coop), Angeline St. Cyr, Braeden McKay (also called Brag), and J. Sanderson Montgomery (also called Sandman).
I could not pick just one favorite character as all the characters in the book were well developed and I came to care for all the characters.
I found the story line a bit odd in the beginning but after the first few chapters it flowed very nice. I liked how it wasn't just told from one point of view and you got to see in side all the main characters.

Chasing Darkness - Unbinding Fate, #3
Chasing Darkness (Unbinding Fate, #3 )
by Colee Firman
I received this book for free for an honest review
This book starts off a few months after the last one ended. Time is spent in both Ravensbog and Greystone. Addy goes through every emotion possible and seeing her work through the good and the bad drives the story on. Then ending was a bit of a cliffhanger but not nearly as bad of one as in the second book!
This book is even better than the other two. I actually felt like I was the one going through everything. I laughed, cursed, and cried. This book put me on a roller coaster and once i started it I was unable to put it down, I just had to know what was going to happen next. I have not felt so amazing after reading a book in a long time. It took me through every emotion and left me wanting more!
I recommend this series to everyone this book brings in so many components and blends everything together perfectly!
Thank you so much to the Author Colee Firman for allowing me to read this wonderful series!

Dissever = Unbinding Fate, #1
Dissever (Unbinding Fate, #1)
by Colee Firman
First off, I would like to say thank you to the Author for giving me the chance to review this book.
The story follows Addison, Abby as her friends and family calls her. Addy find herself in this book. She has to go through a lot and finds out about herself.
I had a hard time getting through the first couple chapters but once I did I fell in love with the characters and the book. There are quite a few people introduced in the first couple of chapters, but after you met most of the characters it gets easier. Not that the book is simple because it is not. There is a lot of depth to the characters and the story-line is very good. I cried several times during the course of the book. Which is not something I make a habit out of.
I found this book extremely hard to put down after I really started reading it and got past the first few chapters and was able to figure out all the characters. The twist and turns made this book a real page turner. I am on pins and needles looking forward the the next book.

Sanctify - Unbinding Fate, #2
Sanctify (Unbinding Fate, #2)

I was given this book by the author to read for an honest review.
The book has a lot of twist and turns and it ends in a cliffhanger. I loved the book! It though me for a loop at points but it was a page turner. I had a very hard time putting it down. I could feel what Addy was going through; the pain, the joy, the sadness. By the end of the book I thought I had been on a roller coaster. I was not happy with the ending but can only think that whatever is going on Tanner is just trying to protect Addy since he loves her so much. Although I was a fan of Gage's from the first book at it continues into this one, Tanner really starts to grow on me.
I can not wait to read the next book.
I want to thank the Author Colee Firman for giving me the opportunity to experience this series!

I firstly want to say thank you to the author Andrew Boyd for the opportunity to read his book in exchange for an honest review!
This story is about a zombie named Adam. It is told mostly in flashbacks but you do have some of it told in the present as well. Having lived in Colorado the descriptions the author had were amazing and made me feel like I was back there.
This is not a book I would recommend to myself but it is a great book full of descriptions and was nice to read!
